flowery heart.
May 06, 2009
This is a perfect card for the Mother's day or just any day. This project is very simple, just follow the steps and in no time you can end up with a great card that will melt any heart. Supplies -> office paper in 3 colors, a blank card, paper glue, paintbrush, tweezers, pencil, eraser, and - the most important tool for this project - flower punch.
For the flowers, I used yellow and two shades of orange color paper. I fell in love with these colors while I was working on the wedding invitation for my friend. First step, cut out flowers...
...lots of flowers in 3 different shades...
...next step, draw a pattern, a heart...
...than, with a brush fill the hearth with the paper glue, you can also use stick glue...
...using the tweezers position the flowers to shape a heart ... the target is to get from THIS...
...to THIS...
...and voila ... a blooming heart!!! ...And how many flowers are in here exactly? ...Good question....One, two, three, four...well this is going to be hard...let's say around 80:)
I hope you enjoyed this project and you will have fun with making your own.
