I got this cute stamp with owl at Michael's just for a dollar, little bit of gold embossing powder and cute owl changes into very cool and precious one! Very simple, classy card and can be used for any occasion like ... whooo has Birthday or Whoo is having party...basically used million ways:))) Whoo likes it??? Have a great Monday... it's almost over!:(
hello sweet sunny day, hello spectacularly cold wind, hello me looking through the lens of my camera and breathing in the crisp day... walking through the field full of sunflowers bathing in the sun...stopped to ooh and aah over flower and little bug and blue sky that can't be more blue...dreamy afternoon where everything stays still just for a moment, I enjoy a lot...soft as a clouds, light as a feather, I feel in this lazy afternoon, vivid wind plays with my hair... I step towards the bright day, wind plays a song in the tall grass and sun strokes their tops changing it into pure gold... it's like dream, like dream...
...a muse kicked me and I felt a little bit poetic when I looked at my pictures I took today, hehe, enjoy...

I made another Hb (Happy Birthday) card this time without the background though. I like how simple the design looks. The letter stickers are really good purchase:) Again, I used couple of the green gemstones to underline the letters. The inside is plain though, nothing in there just a lot of space for birthday wishes. I thought I just keep it simple all around:)) Hope you like it and I'll see you soon:) Have a great Saturday!
When I was arranging my flowers into the vases this week, I got stuck with the rest of the bottom leaves and little sprouts. I usually throw them out but the sprouts from the purple flowers I picked outside in our yard (they were here before so I am not sure what's the name) made me think.
They really looked good when I put them into a little bouquet and it looked even better when I made a little ball out of it. It is holding without any strings or glue. I put it into the water to get some moisture but I am pretty sure it will look good even when the ball dries out. In that case, it would be probably smart to spray it with some adhesive or some hair finish to keep it in one piece thought.I'm thinking to make probably more of these little balls (it just looks better when there is more) and spray it with different colors might look good too. They might be even a good Christmas tree deco, little gold balls, just adding a piece of string to it...hmmmmmm.
Happy Friday to everybody!!!
No more green used in this project, sad I know:))) but orange and red is a cool color too! I just had to use red this time because I wanted to try my new crab punch from 'ek-success' and crab in a green color would look little bit weird, different but still weird:). It is such a fun paper punch and I had mood to try some card that is not that serious.
So, I punched 3 little crabs and made them to hold the Happy Birthday tag. For the tag, I used a red Chinese origami paper that I got from my future mom in law (thank u Diane by the way) and slipped it into a sheer envelope. The Birthday sign is a Martha Stewart rub on as well as the light orange crepe paper. The black & white crazy line paper is from $1 paper pack at Micheal's.I used a piece of the origami paper inside as well and add another little crab to the bottom outlining him with a silver artist pen. And, we are ready to go! Hope your week is great as mine:) See you tomorrow!

For the text part, I used rest of the pre-cut orange texture cardstock I had left and a pink gem-stone to add some detail to it. Heaven! I just need to figure out what to write now - that's always the hardest part when I don't want to repeat myself everytime:)Stay tuned, Friday is getting close:)
This Hb card or in other words Happy Birthday card is made for one of my friends. I just love green color and I use or try to use a lot of green in my creations. It is such a calming color and it looks wonderful against the brown background in this case. I used large green gemstones to underline the Hb sign. The green and white square background under the sticker letters is actually stamped with one of the Anna Griffin collection stamps. I used green pigment color and embossed it with transparent powder. For the inside (where the text will go later) I used a piece of polka dot paper from a pad with pre-punched corners also in green accent and put a brad with green gemstone on the top of the polka dot paper. Now, it needs just couple nice words and out to the mailbox.
I went on a little excursion walk around the block and found a field with these awesome sunflowers and of course I couldn't resist. I brought a bunch of them and add couple of the weeds and sukulents on the way. Soooo beautiful!!! So, one for the kitchen, one for the living room, one for... damn... now, I have to go back and get more. They are way too pretty:)))
Welcome to my new world! This is it - my crafting room for couple months. We found this great house outside Denver and there is so much space that I even can have my own room to put all my crafting stuff that I purchased while being in Colorado. I just love how the table is set in the room and that I have the view at the hallway. Also, I am a big fan of those double glass door - sooo elegant.
I really adore the furniture in here. It's all white, which is not my favorite color because I get it dirty pretty fast, but I love the country style and the table is just awesome (I love the little drawers - everything is at hand). I put the Andy Warhol's posters (got them in Pittsburgh while on the roadtrip ) on each side to keep me company and to make it also more cozy. I think I have enough stuff for now, what do you think:) They had so many transparent stamps on sale at Micheal's that I couldn't resist. What can I say I am addicted. Awful, I know:))
Well, maybe I can get couple more stamps and punches - you never now which one you will need:)
I even have an aquarium in here. It was Darren's idea to get some pet as we cannot have any dogs at this moment. Right now it is empty as we have to set the aquarium first and get the right water consistency. Than we bring a water sample back to the pet-store the next day to test. After it will be in the proper condition we can get fishes. Wow, I didn't know how much you have to do before you can actually own a pet-fish:))) but I guess this avoids a lot of deadly accidents, so smart:) I think I will miss this room when I will go back home but at least I got some new ideas how to update my old craft room. I'll say bye for now but stay tuned for new creations soon:)

Ta daaaaah!!! My first creations after a month and I am loving it:) I missed playing with paper and glue so much. To begging with I decided to work on something simple. I just love the simplicity on cards. I believe that less is more. Single words can express more than a whole sentence, single object might bring more happiness than a big collection. Designing these cards I used as less material as possible. This one carriers a line stamp, simple rub-on words, and gem stones. Simple enough:)
Here is another card from my less-is-more collection:) I got this bird charms at Michael's on sale. They are flat and perfectly fitting for making cards. This design is really simple - regular sewing tread is wrapped around the paper. You can either hang the birds and glue them to the paper or just put them on the top of the treads and glue them to the card. So easy to make!
So, smile & laugh hard, sing out laud, and dance as there is no tomorrow!

Here I go again! I am back to normal (not being on the road living out of my suitcase and in hotels) and finally having little bit time for one of my desires like blogging. It is so good to be back! You probably have noticed that I haven't been around much lately, well, around a month to be more precise. Me, being absent might just have to do with traveling to States and being on roadtrip for 1 week with my fiancee, and settling down in Colorado searching for a place that will be our home for short term of period. After couple disappointments and never ending search we finally found a wonderful house outside Denver close to Castle Rock where Darren starts his new fund-raising campaign.
But, you are probably more curious about our roadtrip that started in Vermont ending in Colorado and was awesome by the way. So, to make you happy I have couple pictures and notes to share (still working on day 5 and 7 though). Enjoy!!!
