christmas time.

January 07, 2010

I wanted to show you one of the Christmas cards I made for my friends and family. I brought these sweet papers from Michaels store in Denver. They are from DCWV stack company and they are called 'The Eco Stack'. The textured cardstock is made out of 70% recycled paper with 24 designs and 48 sheets in one package. I love this forest green paper I used especially.

I was trying to make it simple this time because I had to make a lot of cards in a short time. So, this design is very simple and very ecological as well:). I also used the round punch (I just love my round punch) for the edges of the brown and the forest green cardstock to make it more interesting.

The brown paper is also recycled but I am not sure what company it is from as I throw away the package. As a focus point I used a sharp velvet tree from German company Retif-floristic. They have such a cute stuff that is used usually for flower decoration but I found great use for many of their products for my projects with paper as well. Let me know what u think about my new design:)

Have a great Friday tomorrow!
