This is one of the reasons why I love Vermont... Open Studio Weekend... in other words - different artists open their studios to public to show their talent and galleries are showing their best pieces all over the state. There are 12 counties with 226 studios, galleries, cratspeople, and artists. To manage all of the spots on the list is impossible. I had chance to visit five of those special places in Windsor County and it took me almost the whole day. I will introduce you to each place separately because I just have too many pictures for one post:) For now, enjoy the pics I took on the way...

You might have seen the pictures from the previous post of the blue-eyed fairy. Now, it's her mommy's time. Here is the mom, also Eva, couple days before giving birth to a baby-boy. But first a picture of the little Eve posing with her future baby-brother together...

Možno ste videli obrázky modrookej Evky v predošlých príspevkoch. Teraz, je čas aby zahviezdila aj jej mama. Tu je mama, tiež Eva, len niekoľko dní pred pôrodom dalšieho prírastku. Ale predtým ako začnete prezerať fotky, ešte jedna s modroočkom kde pózuje spolu s budúcim bračekom...

I love them, I enjoy going through all their goods, and I always take pleasure in trying out their local specialty food. Each is different, each has special charm, and I always have to stop. The one on these pictures is even more special to me, near the Squam lake where I spent the best summers of my life... filled with lake region theme gifts, unique decorations, flavored fudge and other fun items.  The great homemade food comes in endless variety. Yankee magazine featured it as the Best of New England Editor's Choice 2009 for the"Best Picnic Lunch in NH" and I can just advice the chicken  blue cheese panini... just delicious!

I don't like coffee but I can deal with a foamy and milky latte from Starbucks, especially when I try to wake up early in the morning. Well this time is was like 10 am, but still before lunch:) And maybe I can deal with some tiramisu, birthday cake, and rocky road cake-pop. I think I will be a daily customer from now and start to drink coffee more often.

Here you go, more of the blue-eyed fairy this time fully in color. She is almost hypnotizing you with those blue eyes.

I was playing with a ribbon. You would think I don't have anything important to do. But actually, I was trying to take a picture for one of my customers who is interested in a pair of shoe ribbon brooches. So, let's call it a hardwork:)

Another photo-date, this time with a deep blue eyed fairy. I took couple pictures of her mom as well, but that's for another post. I probably should've post couple colored pictures before these to show how really blue her eyes are:) Anyways, it was fun to participate in this photo-shooting because Eva, that's the little girl's name, is a professional...
...posing very sweetly, still little sleepy from the nap...pózovala velmi rozkošne ešte mierne rozospatá...

 ... watching carefully what I am doing... pozorne sledovala každý môj krok...
 ... smiling on a command... usmievala sa na pokyn...
 ... and smiling again spontaneously... alebo len spontánne...
 ... time to be more serious... samozrejme bol čas aj na serióznosť...
 ... and having snack of course... a nejaký ten mls...
 ... being model can be exhausting... ved' byť modelkou je náročné...

Another thing on my wists list can be crossed out.  Mine and only mine... matryoshka measuring cups. Found them in a clothing store. I was actually looking for a summer dress and end up buying these. Who can resist though:)

I was admiring them. I searched for them and couldn't find. I was desperate. Well, let's not exaggerate... I was little bit sad. But recently, I found them! I wanted them so badly that I run into them by an accident. Now, they are mine... red & white paper straws. You might think I am getting little bit crazy over couple straws but trust me these things are neat party item. Little bit different to drink out of them but definitely looking stylish in an ice-cold cup of infused water with strawberries.


I played little bit with the Lightroom today and added couple touches and rounded edges. I like those on my paper cards so why don't add them to my pics as well...

Trošku som sa dnes pohrala v Lightroome a pridala som niekoľko svetelných tónov a zaokrúhlila okraje. Obľubujem ich na mojich pohľadniciach tak prečo nie aj na fotkách...
