I really didn't have time to carve any pumpkins this time but I have a picture of a pair Mr. D and I've made during our stay in Denver. Happy Halloween!!!
my cake was very pretty. I played a little copycat & brought the picture of the white&blue cake to a very talented cake-lady and she made me one with tulips. I think they match... well almost:)
I lost source for the 1st cake, 2nd cake source.
I am participating in a Halloween contest with my spooky lanterns over at craft. Hold your thumbs for me.

I will miss another Halloween. I am still stuck at home in Slovakia and I can cross out another Halloween in the US out of my list that I'll miss. What a pity! I bought a beautiful mask in Venice especially for this occasion and I am desperate to try it out. But at least, I can make some decorations. X-ray lanterns.
used materials: my own personal x-rays, some foam tape, & a candle
I am still in a wedding mode & I probably will stay for couple weeks. So, hang in there with me please:) It won't last that long...at least I hope. My flower decoration was simple - mostly creamy and green colors with a hint of old-pink.... tulips were a must. By the way all the flower decorations were made by our company:)
little pink tea roses, green trick carnations, ivory tulips (my most favorite flower), dahlias - grown by my grandfather specially for me, gladiolas with delphinium, white lycianthus and green proteas, green&white hydrangeas, and couple ferns all in white pots and vases, welcome candle stands from retif
Found this on my friends blog & I love it. So much more to search on. Follow. Get inspired. Share.. So, please... Follow my blog with bloglovin

Lollies in a wooden box, one of the treats we had for our wedding guests. I also added my cake topper to it that I bought in US a while ago. It wasn't used for the weeding cake as we decided for a different cake design. Well, let's say I decided... if Mr. D is reading this I am sure & he will comment on it for sure :-) Instead, the chasing pair of bride & groom found a place with the lollipops.

I am changing the template once again. I am always fed up with the look after a while and I have this craving to update it at least a little bit. This time I even had a little push from D... complaining "the content is not readable on that [wooden] background, change it". So, I did and went back to the good old white background and I am liking it again. I am still working on it but around the process I want to hear what you think. I want your smiles, comments, cries, disagreements, anything... for now, I am leaving you with my favorite frog.
I am still here and alive. The wedding was great and we truly enjoyed every minute of it. For now, I have only couple pictures from my cousin Marianne who is a very talented photographer and took excellent pictures of me and Darren:) I will definitely have some more photos from the photographer we hired for our wedding. I just need to be more patient and wait couple more days. I don't know if I can though, it already feels like waiting for ever.
I was little bit busy this last week as we made a little honeymoon trip to Czech rep. and Germany and I apologize that I didn't pick the winner on time. To make it up to you I'll put an extra little surprise to the stack I am giving away and I will pick the winner right now.
So, I wrote each entered name on a piece of paper..
and made my new husband to pick the winner...
and he picked...

Congrats to the winner !!! Chrissy, please email me at majgot@yahoo.com to give me your mailing address.
