The pieces by Karl Lagerfeld, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, Giambattista Valli, Giovanni Bedin, Balenciaga, Christian Siriano and many more are a part of the Shelburne Museum Exhibition In Fashion: High Style that I visited in Shelburne, Vermont. You can find here over 75 costumes from the Museum's permanent collection dated from the year 1690 plus selected number of borrowed works from today's top designers... like Christian Sirano's gorgeous hand-dyed and then hand-pleated gown from the 2010 Spring collection or Oscar de la Renta's pink and ivory silk faille gown with threadwork embroidery from the Spring 2011 Collection. Just gorgeous!!! The exhibit is presented in several sections: Haute Couture, Complete the Look, Fashionable 50’s, and Head to Toe. The 2 bottom pics are some of the late-19th & early-20th century bodices from incomplete high-style garments. Displayed with these pieces are pieces designed by students from prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. FIT students competed to be a part of the exhibit. Nájdete tu cez 75 kostýmov zo stálej zbierky múzea a vybrané modely zapožičané od terajších svetových dizajnérov ako ručne farbené a riasené šaty od Christian Sirano z Jarnej kolekcie 2010 alebo hodvábné šaty vo farebnej kombinácii ružovej a slonovinovej kosti so strojovou výšivkou od Oscar de la Renta z Jarnej kolekcie 2011. Proste úžasné!!! Expozícia je prezentovaná v niekoľkych sekciách: Haute Couture, Complete the Look, Moderné 50 Roky, a Od hlavy až po Päty. Dve spodné fotky sú ukážky živôtikov z nedokončených modelov z neskoršieho 19st. a skoršieho 20 st. Sú vystavené spolu skúskami doplnujúcich odevov ktoré navrli študenti z prestížného Modného Inštitútu Technológie v New Yorku. O účasť na tejto výstave študenti súťažili so svojim návrhom.
