sneak a peak and other great stuff.

Right now I am melting, literally! It's 32 degrees outside (around 90 in Fahrenheit) and impossible to even move! I hate when is hot like you don't even want to move a finger and you just sit there doing nothing in the belief that the temperature will drop soon. You would probably advise me to get an air conditioner but I will disappoint you.The AC's are used in big companies, malls, and most of the restaurants here but they are not that common in Slovak households, unfortunately and thankfully in the same time. Unfortunately, because of me suffering in this heat and thankfully, because of lower electricity bill and less use of freon.

But, I don't get finish that much if my chair is sticking to my butt, I can tell you that. I have a leather chair which I am not appreciating right now:( I should probably move my craft room to our nicely cold basement. But, enough weather talk and let's concentrate on more important stuff like card making:) The top pic is a sneak a peak of my latest project. I am making this card to thank somebody for doing me a favor. I won't tell you yet who is the lucky person:) I just don't want to spoil the surprise. I will show you and tell you more about it when it's delivered:)

But, I will show you these awesome fabrics! Aren't they beautiful?!?! They are Tilda design and I got them on my last trip in Norway. My cousin Martine brought me to this great craft store Panduro at the mall and I couldn't resist to get some stuff (no surprise there)! I already have couple projects in my head I would love to use the fabrics for.
Oh, and I forgot to show you the boutonnieres that belong to the bouquets I blogged about the last time and I would like to show you how the grips of the bouquets look like as well. So, here we go...

...by the way, if you have any concerns about the length of the stems, they were cut right at the moment when the flowers were picked up:)

Have a great rest of the week!

  1. I envy you the temperature - belive it or not! Then you have a reason not to go/do anything fast ... It was really nice seeing you again in Tønsberg. Looking forward to see the result of the fabrics. They are beautiful! Hugs from aunt Sidsel

  3. Hi Lucy! Love the fabrics! I actually went to a local store here in Toensberg on Monday and spent quite a bit on money on fabric too, he, he. It was the store where Tilda was born, and had a TON of beautiful fabric. SO hard to pick just a few... Have a great weekend (hopefully a bit cooler.....)
